Some people consider that the law does not apply on the Internet. That: there is no law on the Internet because it is a (an entirely) free media. That: If someone rules the Internet this will ignore and affect that freedom.
But: the truth is that the Internet is a means for doing relationships. The law applies to that means, because it causes juridical effects. Therefore, the Internet is governed by the law tailored to the case.
The law is a human creation for recognizing and applying of rights and duties (tailored to each case). It applies in every human relationship, because inside it there are rights and duties that have to be attended for its functional development.
The Internet is another human creation. It is useful for human interaction. But, from the juridical point of view, human interaction means a human relationship (properly: a juridical relationship). So, in that interaction there are rights and duties that must be effective (tailored to each case).
This is not ignoring and /or affecting the freedom of its environment. When there is the law there is the right to freedom (in different ways: as the freedom of expression and the freedom to perform relationships). Tailored to the case. But, it is important to understand that freedom only exists when there is a limit. It is the only way of ensuring others’ rights (and duties).
So, freedom is different than anarchy. In anarchy there is no limit. There are no rights and duties. Instead, when there is freedom there is the enjoyment of the rights and the fulfillment of the duties (in charge of each person related with a relationship) that are necessary for the existence of freedom (in that relationship and in each person).
Therefore, the Internet is a free context for doing relationships if it is ruled by the law and if each person self-regulates her / his acts in a way that allows the rights and duties effectiveness. This is the form of making quality of live in that context (tailored to each human relationship).
This is the reason why juridical validity culture is determinant for human being. It makes the juridical valid relationship (inside and outside the Internet). In the Internet, it makes that each digital content, hardware, software, network, platform, human being and any other subject and object is according to the rights and duties that apply to her / his / it (them).
