He obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies with an outstanding qualification in the Department of Philosophy of Law of the Complutense University of Madrid. Internal Auditor in information security (ISO27001).

 

Partner of the Area of IT, Privacy and Data Protection of ECIJA, has more than ten years of experience in legal advice on Data Protection, Compliance, Information Security and Technological Law.

 

Provides advice to various institutions and organizations in Latin America regarding Data Protection (including: in draft standards).

 

Associate professor at the Instituto de Empresa and teacher at different Spanish and Ibero-American universities, on legal aspects of privacy, data protection and information technologies.

 

Promoter and Director of the initiative of the Ibero-American Data Protection Observatory (OIPRODAT), on the treatment and regulations regarding data protection, privacy and habeas data in the different Latin American countries. Co-chair of the Madrid Chapter of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Member of the Spanish Association of Health Law, Counselor and Coordinator of Privacy Studies of the Ibero-American Observatory of Legislation, Jurisprudence and Public Policies in the field of Information and Communication Technologies, and member of the Advisory Council of the Mexican Academy of Computer Law.

Co-author of the book “Digital Law: from data protection to cybersecurity”, published by The Valley Digital Business School and Editorial Unit.

Co-author of the Expert Manual on Delegate of Data Protection, published by School of Digital Technologies (2018).

Co-author and coordinator of the book “Towards effective data protection in Latin America. Declarations of the initiative of the Ibero-American Data Protection Observatory ”, published by the Ombudsman’s Office of the City of Buenos Aires (2017).
